you were stranded on the interstate bitching
about how your car broke down in a ditch and
you still found a way to make me a villain
if hate made gold then you’d make a killing
you were cast out by your sister, your brother
your stubbornness only added your mother
from your verbal abuse, I know I’ll recover
because now you’re the glue, and I am the rubber
it must be shit to be you
you had me on the interstate singing
Leonard Cohen & Old Bob Dylan
the pedal to the floor was the limit
7:34 was the minute
you finally let me out of your prison
I still pay the rent, but now I’m free living
took a left on delmar drive, had a vision
that I am the one that you will be missing
it must be shit to be you
everyone has a little love tucked into their heart
everyone has a little sun to dismantle the dark
not everyone is strong enough to pick their pride apart
not everyone is brave enough to find out what they are
there aren’t enough numbers
in the world
to count on you
there were never enough numbers
in the world
to count on you

Album of the Year. Blending the best of pop and rock whilst never being ashamed to wear it's heart on it's sleeve. If this album was a person it would be ready to give you a hug and validate you at all times. toast-king

A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
